Bought the bike new in 99 and since this picture I've added a studded tank cover/plain bags/windscreen/radiator side covers and various other shiny bits. All genuine Yamaha accessories. No engine mods. 36000 kilometres on the clock. Runs like a charm and sounds great with "Pipemaster" (Queensland) slip on slashcuts. Started riding when I was 46 (4 years ago)and this is my first big bike. After a lot of research (I tried all the big cruisers including Harleys) and testing I decided on the RS because I felt it was the best value for money and quality bike and still is.
