1993 Ford Ranger XLT (with the Lima 4 and standard 5 speed transmission, and basic axle

 

One thing missing from my package. CombiCamp also provided an optional porch that would be an excellent addition for comfortable camping. It apparently zips in using the same attachment points as the standard open canopy and looks to double the enclosed space. The canopy already provides good shelter from the rain, but the screened panels on the sides would be nice for lounging when the bugs are biting. Keeping my fingers crossed I stumble across one eventually:

One BIG bonus is the setup time. As they say, a picture is worth about a billion words, so here's a short clip courtesy of YouTube.

 

Mine DOES take a bit longer to set up, as it has the optional second bedroom bay, but you get the idea. Still only a couple minutes from cracking the lid to being able to get in from the weather if necessary, and not much longer to get the interior ready for a day's loafing around. Shortly after getting the trailer, I pulled into a park right behind a medium size camper and was inside, settling in, while they were still trying to level theirs. My time's also getting better with practice.
