| My pride and joy - a set of McIntosh XR16 speakers. Bought these new and have had 35 happy years with absolutely no incentive to replace them or try something else. Recently had the cones professionally refurbished, so they should be good for another 35. These produce usable SPLs down to around 22 hz and can really rock the room. Excuse the green tape at the base - that marks the "sweet spot" for the sonic holography. |
